This paper was unopened, but the gift was fairly large (the box is about 28" long, and 5 or 6 inches square), so I wanted a big piece. Though the paper itself was medium quality, I thought the design was very nicely done, and would appeal to someone whom I felt had a preference for clean design.
metallic star wrapping paper; silver bow and star; golden mylar tassel; metallic copper snowflake mesh wire-edged ribbon, layered on vintage ivory and brown ribbon, copper plastic ornament; hot glue, tape; 01jan24, sony ILCE-7C, sony 90mm macro, f/2.8, ev -0.3, 1/100s, ISO 100, WV: daylight; rotated, cropped, scaled in gimp
One of the things I like about the wide brown mesh ribbon with gold wire edges and copper snowflakes printed in glitter is that it co-ordinates really well both with brown and metallic colourways. To echo the contrast between the white background and star outlines, I did a triple layer of wide cream ribbon with dark brown over it, covering both with the widest yet mesh; then combined copper, silver and gold decorations for the intersection.
To celebrate the 12 days of Giftwrapping, I'm using this page to collect them together. Enjoy:)
