This was, I believe the first of the series, and I experimented with machine couching, using extremely fuzzy blue yarn (with blue sparkles), some sparkly purple stuff intended for canvas works and, because I hate wasting anything, shreds of metallic green thread the machine wouldn't actually pass through the needles.

I like the ragged look, but this doesn't quite hang together. I do like the colors, though.

Some sort of woven green fabric leftover from an applique project when I was approximately 12, felt, miscellaneous yarns and metallic fibers.
