Green & Black mouse
with goldstone & hematite

Memory tells me that the green twisty (just above the hematite S bead, on the starfish dangle) is boro; at any rate, I know I made it a loooooong time ago.

focal bead featuring floral trailing with goldstone stringer is about 7/8"; length overall (not including large ring) approximately 9"

But, my memory being what it is, I can't even remember why I decided to put hematite beads in the piece, which I strung earlier this year: there's also a small cylinder, set of by 2 silver 4mm faceted czech rounds—I love the look, but as it's basically (now synthetic, evidently) high-grade iron ore, it's heavy. Of course, that doesn't matter so much for mice.

Perhaps, given the goldstone trailing in the focal, I was playing with metallic finishes, which you can see also in the iris seed and bugles beads, as well as those silvered czech 4mms. The rhinestone rondell certainly implies a whimsical mood.
