Years ago I took a borosilicate class from Tim Drier and Doni Hatz, and a Christmas ornament class from Fred Birkhill. Ever since then I've had two goals: to make rotation of axis beads (or even ornaments) and strike amber purple with some modicum of control. Last year I managed the rotation of axis for the first time, and this year, I'm finally starting to get amber purple down.

Boromax triple passion, with some ruby, 38mm/1-1/2” diameter. (This photograph clearly demonstrates the importance of cleaning up dust.)
This ornament really is about color, as it barely shows stripes, let alone rotation of axis. But others in the series should remedy the lack, to some degree.
