Generally the goal is to do a good job, but sometimes it's more important to do a timely one—this isn't as exciting as some of my more elaborate jobs, but for 2 or 3 minutes’ effort it is, as my friend would say, a whole lot better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
Most of those precious minutes were finding flowers the right color (which I never really managed—they're the weakest aspect of the design): the brightly colored papers gave lots of options, so I didn't have much difficulty in finding lime ribbon, a bright blue bow and some white ripped ribbon to match (I love the elegance ripped ribbon gives to any wrapping job). I didn't bother finding a box nor turning on the glue gun, but simply taped the paper around the contents, brightly colored socks, which luckily matched the wrapping nicely and similarly made a roll of clear packing tape onto which I stuck the bow & ribbon.
