I'm not certain when I made this bracelet: I could very well have done it after I started lampworking, sometime in 1996. Or before. I'm guessing it's somewhere between 5 and 15 years old, but I don't really know, honestly.
65x75x15mm. Raw and coated copper wire, 308 steel wire, turquoise, glass and copper beads. Date unknown.
I was inspired by a couple of pieces, one, a pin that I purchased that had this elaborate, close wrapping, and one a cuff that incorporated large beads and wire (aluminum, I believe) that Page had picked up somewhere.
I never really did much with the concept beyond this piece so far as jewelry is concerned, though somewhere in there I played with french beaded flowers for awhile. Now that the cost of silver has rendered non-silver jewelry more acceptable, it might be fun to pursue this kind of thing.
