Peachy Pink French Beaded Peas
Say that three times fast (redux)

Continuing from last time, the pea, on the other hand, is my most recent completed flower. (Or it was, when I started this post. Yesterday I finished a couple of lavender.)

Thus all the other posts to date are bracketed, in terms of construction chronology, between this one and the last one.

7” long. Largest blossom, roughly 1x1x1”, including sepals. Wire, delicas, seed beads. April2008.

Thus, instead of the more traditional wrapping using floral tape or floss, I did more of a wire-wrap style. I originally strung the delicas on wire to make them into french beaded flowers during my last bout of french beaded flower making because I thought they weren't permanent, and though I subsequently discovered this wasn't the case I thought the cylindrical shape of the beads gave a kind of interesting contrast.

Another view, so's I can stick this in the ginger jar on a high shelf and forgeddabout it.
