Last in the series of dead mice featuring found peyote-stitched tubes of delicas; the first photographed, and by far the most successful of the lot, both in terms of design and photography[1] —look at that lovely hint of aqua in the shadow of the focal and the transparents on the tips of the tails;)
lampwork bead, featuring filigrana glass; found peyote stitched tubes of delicas; other seed, czech, swarovski (or an excellent Chinese copy) crystal cube, lapis lazuli, lampwork & basemetal beads, probably strung on beadalon; photographed 15jun2021, sony ILCE-7C, sony 90mm macro, f/2.8, ev +1.0, 1/100s, ISO 1000; cropped, lightened; scaled to 4000 pixels in gimp (click for the sharp full size version)
It also bears the distinction of the only one good enough, in my opinion, for a real semi-precious stone—the 4mm lapis near the dragonfly charm. So clearly I was happy with this one when I made it, too.
[1]It's the only one in which the tails are really in focus, and while soft focus often works well, in this case the sharp focus points the clear transparency of the secondary focals; the coloured shadows provide softness;)
