Blue abstract
in yet another blue mouse

The Thompson Enamel frit and powder beads are amongst the earliest of my designs, and the blue and green colour combos (both called ‘Monet’ after his water lily series) was pretty settled as early as 2000, some 4 years after I'd learned to make beads and 2 after being able to do it regularly, having by that time gotten my studio issues mostly ironed out.

lampwork abstract bead with frit and powder; seed, czech, lampwork & basemetal beads, probably strung on beadalon; photographed 15jun2021, sony ILCE-7C, sony 90mm macro, f/2.8, ev +1.0, 1/100s, ISO 1000; cropped, lightened; scaled to 4000 pixels in gimp (click for the sharp full size version)

I still make these beads on occasion, but this one is likely at least a decade old, and quite possibly two.

Nor is this the first time I've made a blue abstract mouse:); likely both of them are old chiming abstracts in which the chime broke, but in any event they're pretty beads.
