I don't have real exact notes on this piece, but I suspect I strung the tail, at least, some time after I completed this necklace —note the same graduated sequence of amber rectangles in the bottom tail as in the tassel of the other piece (from which I recall copying it.) Since that piece was completed mid-March, I probably started this one shortly thereafter.
Dead mouse, 7-5/8" long (exclusive of keyring); focal bead, about 5/8x3/4" I evidently didn't make any notes about when I strung the tails or assembled the piece, but the latter, at least, happened within the last two months. Photographed, E620/zuiko 50mm macro, lumopro manual flash, f8, 1/125sec, 20apr2020
The two ivory dotties feature reactive glass dots, but almost certainly from scrap I had lying around, so I don't have much info beyond that as to what kind of glass it was. All in all, what I feel is a reasonably handsome mouse and excellent, and serendipitous, lighting.[1]
[1]I find by tilting the black plexi up relative to the horizontal white surface that serves as the ‘ceiling’ I get this nice reflection on the background that pops the subject and hides the dust, not to mention reflecting through any transparent beads.
