orange pysanky for thee and me
These actually were the earliest ones made, as you can tell from the more elaborate designs.
hard boiled eggs, dye, wax, 18apr22; sony ILCE-7c, sony 90mm macro, f/4.5, 1/160 sec, ISO 50, godox 6000 flash & triger, 1/4 power 18apr22; cropped.
For the egg on the right, you can see I was fingerpainting with the dye, as well as some ‘lite’ (potassium based) salt. Not super exciting, but certainly the most vivid I managed in the red range, and the dye only somewhat peeled, as you can see in the egg on the left (upper left part).
