This gorgeous piece was made many years ago by my friend Page, and as you see it involves a lot of wirework: each dangle consists of up to 14 individually gallery wrapped 4mm beads, either swarovski crystals or pearls. Note also that each dangle is mounted on a soldered jump ring: this sort of attention to detail helps to give the piece a wonderfully fluid drape—Page's pieces are meticulously engineered.
Sterling silver, freshwater pearls and glass. Photographed 20170921E620, but likely made as much as 20 years prior.
So far as I know, she only ever made the one, and I was very grateful to have the opportunity to photograph such a beautiful piece. It's now in a private collection.
