My dear friend Page loves dragonflies, Art Noveau and seafoam green, so it's hardly surprising that she could, in beads, capture the essence of all three, as she does in these stunning earrings:

dragonfly earrings. Molded rose beads, almost certainly vintage, brass dragonfly charms, czech and austrian glass beads.

Alas, my photography is not all it could be: it really needs to model the rosebud molding of the round beads. I failed utterly to do this, either using flash or gimp (post-processing). Nevertheless, I think even this picture manages to convey how well my friend & fellow artist managed to recreate the art noveau iconography, color and design using beads.
