I noticed on some art blog that the guy was doing Friday kid-art blogging, which I thought delightful. Well, his kid was quite a bit younger than mine, who can now measure those bday candles in double digits, but as it happens my offspring do occasionally sprout artistic tendancies, as with this meta-strawberry:

the artist was rather disappointed because it wasn't quite right. I suggested that a cleaner background might've helped, but really I thought the piece quite charming.

It certainly was delicious!
