I've planted a number of seeds—nasturtium, marigolds, zinnia—which, if they're lucky have sprouted but not yet been eaten by bugs; and also bought a purple leaved Joe Pye weed and a variegated coreopsis. So, since these aspects of my garden are merely hopes for the fall, I show some fall pictures taken last year at the fabulous Matthaei Botanical Gardens.
