Cocoa Pink
are peachy keen
These beautiful flowers belong to a neighbor and seeing them every year is one of my spring delights.
Here, for example, is another image of these same flowers, taken in 2020:
As best I can tell these are the Cocoa Pink cultivar developed by a Mr O. David Niswonger. Or...they could be Chanted, one of their parents, which honestly look identical to me. They're evidently not common or successful, but my neighbor's, as you see, are so spectacularly healthy that although the colours are not especially exciting, they're an excellent example of that adage of right plant for the right place.
