Winter Bridge
just after the winter solstice sunrise...
So the sun actually shone during the winter solstice last year, something it doesn't ordinarily. I'm too lazy to get in the car & go far enough to actually be able to see it rise—I love our trees, but they do make seeing true sunrises and sets impossible—but did manage this early morning shot of a bridge I rather liked.

For some reason it reminds me of Japanese prints from the 1800s, of bridges, buildings and snowfall.
