I'm not good at these little landscapes, but they're fun to do, and a nice memento of my various trips. And the ones I tried to do of quite simple spotted lilies were horrid, which is to say, this could be a lot worse.

This particular sketch was made on a weekend kayak trip beset by problems, but nevertheless was fun to do; I'm very glad, despite my losing a hatch cover, that, courtesy of a friend's emergency hatch cover kit, I was able to do, as the longer trip for which it was preparatory got cancelled owing to thunderstorms.
