Happy Halloween! I made a personalized card for my friend Page, and then decorated the back of the envelope in which I enclosed the card.
assorted paper ephemera, punched, glued and doodled over; markers, microns; approx 6x9", photographed 25oct 2025 with a Sony A7c, 90mm macro, f/2.8, EV +0.3, 1/100s, ISO 800, squared up with the transform tool in gimp, slightly lightened, cropped & scaled to 4000 pixels
Page actually gave me some of the elements I incorporated, such as the larger embossed spider and spooky mansion; our local art supply shop owner gave me the Tombow pencil box, just because I loved the old timey graphic design; the other spider is courtesy of some bra packaging that I've been carefully saving.
I was really quite happy with how this came out, and I know Page will be pleased to see her old cards remade, not to mention getting a fancy card in the mail—she loves sending and receiving fancy cards, so I was very pleased to make her this:)
