Well, as the following page shows, my interest in Color is Messy probably peaked about six years ago,[1] in late 2017/2018. (Ironically, I didn't even start to post my 2012 samples till 2017 and the main 2012 sample strand didn't go up till 2020[2] and then didn't post my 2017 samples till 2023!
It's nice glass, and I still have a lot of it—in fact, the only real reason I haven't been buying more is that I have so much already;)

So our guild has these silent auctions at our holiday party, and in 2017 I netted myself a couple of CiM sample packs, at least one of which, according to my studio notes, was of ltd run colours. I noted on 11dec17 that
Some of the colors had that delightful creaminess I associate w/ CiM...ALSO, prussian was done on a slightly bent mandrel.[3]

I've long since given up attempting to track Effetre's non-standard colours, not only because there are so many of them, but also because there doesn't seem to be much consistency with regard to stock numbers, names, etc. Creation is Messy, otoh, seems to base their limited run colours on fairly stable recipes. For awhile they simply assigned a batch or melt number to whatever stock number the glass was nominally supposed to be (oh be still my beating heart!) but evidently this was ‘too complicated’ for people to follow so now they assign the odd lots a unique name (and stock number...at least till they run out, I suppose.) Fortunately it's still relatively easy to figure out most of the colours’ antecedents: honey mustard, canoe and safari are all, frex, variants of canyon de chelly.
They also keep track of these variations, so that sometimes, colours actually get resurrected; for that reason, it makes more sense to keep track of them: it might actually return.
