These earrings were made as a sort of hostess gift, and my mandate was neutral colours, not too large. I have a lot of double helix rod ends lying about, so I pulled one into stringer to make these earrings.
The earrings are just fine; I quite like them. It's the photography that moves them towards fridayfugly territory: my cell phone focused on the wood grain, so the findings and silver accent beads are in sharp focus, but the glass beads are not. —I've actually been quite happy with the camera(s) in this phone; I just haven't quite learned how to get it to reliably focus where I want it to, sometimes.
So, just for kicks, I tried sharpening up the one on the left. (Mostly because I couldn't figure out how to add and move a second selection independently of the first. Probably should've made one layer for each, but the computer I do much of this work on is pretty severely underpowered (so that I don't have to listen to fan noise.) So, you can judge for yourself just how ugly my image editing efforts are.
