Make a bead to Match Socks!
a fun colour and pattern challenge

I am all about fancy socks, so this was a natural for me.

The design reminds me of fireworks—the inner drops are a bright, fluorescing lime green that unfortunately is a bit washed out in the photo; moreover, my reds are darker than the pure blood red in the sock (tch, tch—unlike purple this color is fairly easy to achieve.)

1.25 lentils to match socks. Thompson enamels and trailing on pressed hollows.

This was a fun little project, though I wasn't excited enough with my beads—which to be honest were a first approximation—to keep them (I think the idea was to make jewelry to match your socks...but I can tell aready if I did that the earrings would last much longer than the socks. And I'm lazy.)
