So I bought this expensive ($40/#) odd lot lauscha pinks, and I was mostly ...unimpressed. Guess I was hoping for some of that deep-deep rich german color. This glass was nice enough, just not what I was hoping for.

hollow pink pixie winged hearts. spring 2008. red hilite pixie dust, lauscha glass. They probably measure between 35–45 mm tip to tip.

Given that it's only somewhat compatible with Effetre, I decided to do single-color beads with it—putting pixie on the heart part, and leaving the wings plain. I thought they came out really quite nice. Sometimes simplicity really is best.
