Summery floral giftwrap

This summery giftwrap, done in July of 2022, is flowers all the way—both in the paper and the decorations. I was especially pleased with the way the blue mum? echoed the blue flowers in the paper:)

foiled floral paper; velvet & picotee satin ribbons; curling ribbons and co-ordinating bows; pink mesh rose petals; assorted silk flowers; plastic bead strands; tape and hot glue; pixel pro 6, 25jun2022, f/1.9, ev 0, 1/622s; ISO 37; cropped in gimp

Parts of this piece date back a very long time—the earliest documented use of the fuchsia (hanging on the left edge) dates back no later than 2002, as it was done in at our old house, from which we moved in the beginning of 2003, and honestly was likely shot in 1999, some three years after I started this blog...[1]

The fuchsias reappeared sporadically again, in 2008 and 2010.

[1]my documentation, both for images and web pages starts to get really shaky much before 2000, but internal evidence suggests that the page in question was likely made in 1999.
