Technically speaking, there's no ‘wrap’ in this giftwrap, because the decorations are glued directly to the box itself. Japanese products are often quite beautifully presented, without quite so much of the distracting text and other efforts to convince the customer to purchase.
Thus, with a strategic placement of bows and curling ribbon, I was able to completely cover the bits indicating what the product was (some sort of fruit flavoured sweet, I think). What this means is that an item can be placed inside after it's decorated—and removed without destroying the wrapping as well.
Thus, the piece can serve as part of an exhibit of the technique, yet still serve as a last minute wrap job as well (assuming I take down the exhibit before the holidays, of course.)
