This gift was for someone who likes clean lines. Since the gift within was brightly multicolored (and for the most part round) beads, the paper's motif seemed perfect.

To push the sophistication (i.e. make the gift look as if it were for a grown up) I selected shiny, but textured ribbon and this black plastic ‘beaded’ cording to set off the paper. One could easily make the argument that the ribbons and paper don't quite jell, then, one could also make that same argument about the contents, so, c'est la vie.

I was happy with it, anyway.
