Candy cane
on pink.
This stocking was made to match the blue one, below. It's had a rough life. Dogs love chocolate, and a dog chewed the original version up because a piece of chocolate got left in it. Fortunately the dog wasn't hurt, and I had more felt, so I simply remade it, reusing the most time consuming part, the candy cane.

If you look closely you can see I started with a very regular pattern of red stars for the stripes, but that didn't last long. The red star sequins go back to my childhood, a purchase from franks. I've been collecting art supplies for a very long time.
