At a distance of eight months, I can't recall a whole lot else about this drawing, except an echo of pleasure in making this little sketch. —As much as I feel I've made little art over the year, in fact, I've done a fair amount of mixed media and doodles, and looking at them all as a body of work...why yes, they do count.

Really, like so many other things, art is about putting in the time, even when it feels like little progress is being made.
