Fish Skeletons
perfect for a kitty's solstice gift

The recipient requested goodies for his cat, and f2tE, as a passionate pet owner, got these super fancy treats that both f2tE's cat and dogs adore. As cats are supposed to stereotypically love fish, this paper seemed like a natural—bonus, the recipient is outdoorsy and likes the natural brown paper look, or at least that's the kind he chose to wrap his own gifts.

brown paper with fish skeleton design; fan-folded ribbon; matching green shredded curling ribbon; white curling ribbon; silk flower mistletoe; pine cone; 2 types of wire edged fabric ribbon; hot glue. photographed 21dec23, sony ILCE-7C, sony 90mm macro, f/2.8, ev -0.3, 1/100s, ISO 250, WB: cloudy; cropped (and as I recall) slightly darkened in gimp

Thus, besides the obvious white/green/brown colour scheme, which suggests pine and snow covered western mountains to me, there's the leaves gold-printed on the transparent green ribbon, with a white frosted pine cone and mistletoe that serves to imply the holiday season as well as winter. I was really quite happy with how this one came out:)

a second view in which the cream satin ribbon shows better.[1] sony ILCE-7C, sony 90mm macro, f/2.8, ev -0.3, 1/100s, ISO 250, WB: cloudy; cropped (and as I recall) slightly darkened in gimp

[1]Like the paper, it originally came from my dear friend Page;)
