I'm not much of a fan of flash, but sometimes it comes really handy:

SonyRX100, f1.8, 1/30 sec, ISO320, apeture priority, auto white balance, with fill flash

...even if you're wanting a naturalistic look, as above. This is the image I wanted, in terms of exposure. Really, only the slight shadow behind the sprayer gives the game away.

Much as I love contrast, this is way too much. Also, tabbouleh is delicious.
