Pink pixie winged hearts
fun with lauscha odd-lots
So I bought this expensive ($40/#) odd lot lauscha pinks, and I was mostly ...unimpressed. Guess I was hoping for some of that deep-deep rich german color. This glass was nice enough, just not what I was hoping for.
hollow pink pixie winged hearts. spring 2008. red hilite pixie dust, lauscha glass. They probably measure between 35--45 mm tip to tip.
Given that it's only somewhat compatible with Effetre, I decided to do single-color beads with it---putting pixie on the heart part, and leaving the wings plain. I thought they came out really quite nice. Sometimes simplicity really is best.
