Garden 1999-2000

And it mostly doesn't work. Fortunately, photography makes even the worst looking garden better than it really is. These shots were taken so far as I can tell during 1999 and 2000; some of them, perhaps, date to 1998. Sad to say, the advent of an extremely barky pit bull next door has severely reduced my pleasure in gardening, and I don't take care of it as much as it really needs. But it's no fun to have a snarling animal go ballistic every time you weed; and Detroit is not the sort of place where neighbors can typically be wheedled into training their ``guard'' dogs into shutting up.
